Visiting marta

Over the Columbus Day weekend we drove down the Statesville, NC, to visit Daria’s college friend Marta. The agency Marta heads, the Iredell County Partnership for Young Children,

was sponsoring an exhibit promoting “Smart Start” at a local farm the that rehabilitates abandoned or injured animals - Rescue Ranch. So we headed out there to tour the facility, vote for her agency’s exhibit and enjoy lunch.
