Adam, Karla and Isis hosted Thanksgiving dinner at their home in Reston. Sarah, Andy, Jacob and Misha flew from Minneapolis that morning so they could join us.

On Black Friday, as Andy and Sarah visited friends in Washington, Daria and Jeff watched Jacob. Since Jacob, Andy, Sarah and Misha were flying back to Minnesota on Saturday afternoon, we held a birthday party for Jacob’s 2nd birthday the day before it’s actually celebrated. On Sunday we took Isis to see the Nutcracker Suite at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington.
